A wallet operation that stores or removes a credential synchronizes the registry afterwards and does not fail if that synchronization does not succeed, so this is where an application learns that the platform projection is stale. Recover by calling refreshDigitalCredentialRegistration again; the wallet store it projects is unaffected.
